Medicaid & Participating Insurance Plans

About the Program
What Is the iBudget Florida Waiver?
The iBudget Florida Waiver is a Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver administered by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD). It provides individualized funding for services that support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live in the community.
We work closely with individuals, families, and Waiver Support Coordinators to deliver services that align with each person's Support Plan and personal goals.

Personal Supports
Person-centered assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, and community participation. Personal Supports help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve their individual goals, maintain health and safety, and participate fully in their communities.

Life Skills Development Level 1 – Companion
Structured support to build independence, social skills, and daily living skills in home and community settings. Life Skills Development Level 1 focuses on skill-building activities that help individuals develop greater self-sufficiency and confidence.

Life Skills Development Level 3 – Adult Day Training (ADT)
Structured day training services focused on skill acquisition, community inclusion, and meaningful activity. Adult Day Training supports individuals in developing vocational, social, and independent living skills in a group or community-based setting.

Respite Care
Temporary relief services for family caregivers, providing a planned break while ensuring continuous quality care and support for the individual. Respite care supports family sustainability and caregiver well-being.

Supported Living Coaching
Coaching and support for individuals living independently or semi-independently in the community. Supported Living Coaching helps individuals develop the skills and confidence to manage their own home, make choices, and live as independently as possible.

Transportation
Safe, reliable transportation to support community access, appointments, day training programs, and other authorized activities. Transportation services help individuals participate in their communities and access the services they need.

Skilled Nursing
Skilled nursing services provided by licensed nurses to support the health and safety of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Nursing services are coordinated with the individual's care team and support plan.
