About the Program
What Is the APD iBudget Waiver?
The Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) iBudget Waiver is a Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver that funds support services for individuals with developmental disabilities — including autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and Prader-Willi syndrome.
Embracing Love Home Care is an enrolled APD provider. We work directly with your support coordinator to deliver authorized services that promote independence, community inclusion, and quality of life.

APD Waiver Services We Offer
Personal Supports (PS)
Assistance with activities of daily living, personal care, and community participation for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Life Skills Development Level 1 (LSD1)
Training and support to improve independence, social skills, and daily living skills in home and community settings.
Companion Services
Supervision, socialization, and community engagement activities to promote inclusion and quality of life.
Respite Care
Temporary relief services for family caregivers, providing a break while ensuring continuous quality care for the individual.
Supported Living Coaching (SLC)
Assistance with independent living skills and community integration for individuals living in their own homes.
Skilled Nursing Services
RN and LPN services authorized through the iBudget waiver for individuals with complex medical needs.
Personal Care Assistance (PCA) – Under 21
Compassionate, person-centered PCA services for eligible children and young adults under age 21 through Florida Medicaid HCBS programs — supporting daily living, safety, community participation, and independence with dignity and family involvement.
